Jeff’s Thoughts on Working with John Fleskes
I love working with John because he makes beautiful books. It’s as simple as that. He is a master craftsman, and I know that he will bring the same level of attention and care into bringing the book into the world as I did in creating the work within it. I could not have been happier with our first book together, Notes From The Shadowed City, and I can’t wait to see what he does with The Thousand Demon Tree.
John’s Thoughts on Working with Jeffrey Alan Love
I was mesmerized with Jeff’s work from the moment I first saw it. I could tell immediately that this was an artist with that rare individual voice that could speak in soft tones, yet have a strong commanding presence through his art. Upon meeting Jeff I found someone with an equal passion and commitment to making art and books that had a genuine purpose. He is humble, one of the best storytellers and designers who I’ve met, and someone who lets his work speak for itself. It’s a joy to work with Jeff–especially when I get to see each new work for the first time, and during the excitement that comes while we brainstorm ideas. It’s pure pleasure to have this opportunity to bring his work into the viewers hands.
