Nikolaj Coster-Waldau On The Final Season Of Game Of Thrones And More

Into The Final Stretch

The final season of Game of Thrones starts on 14 April and here’s Nikolaj Coster-Waldau aka Jaime Lannister talking to Larry King about the final season and a few other things…

Ser Jaime Lannister is the eldest son of Tywin Lannister. With Cersei’s ascension to the Iron Throne, Jaime was appointed as the new commander of the Lannister armies but left the position to honor and help the North face the White Walkers.

Here’s what wikipedia had to say about the eighth and final season:

The eighth and final season of the fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones was announced by HBO in July 2016. Unlike the first six seasons that each had ten episodes and the seventh that had seven episodes, the eighth season will have only six episodes. Like the previous season, it will largely consist of original content not found currently in George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series, and will also adapt material Martin has revealed to showrunners about the upcoming novels in the series, The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring.

The season will be adapted for television by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. Filming officially began on 23 October 2017, and concluded in July 2018. The season is scheduled to premiere on 14 April 2019.

And here’s a few photos from the new season too
