George Takei’s biographical graphic novel They Called Us Enemy comes out next week and you can meet the cast at San Diego Comic-Con next week…

 

George Takei has made it his life’s mission to educate the world about the incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II. To launch They Called Us Enemy, he’ll join his co-writers Justin Eisinger and Steven Scott and artist Harmony Becker for three very special Comic-Con appearances:

Friday, July 19, 12:00pm-1:30pm — They Called Us Enemy signing at IDW booth 2729
with George Takei, Harmony Becker, Justin Eisinger, Steven Scott (NOTE: Ticketed signing)

Saturday, July 20, 1:00pm-2:00pm — They Called Us Enemy panel in Room 25ABC
Hear firsthand from George Takei, as well as his co-authors Justin Eisinger and Steven Scott and artist Harmony Becker, about this dark chapter of our nation’s history, its impact on Takei’s astonishing life, and its urgent relevance for today’s world.

For tickets to either signing (Friday or Saturday), speak to an IDW employee in booth 2729. Tickets are free with purchase of They Called Us Enemy, but ticket quantities are limited. Note that the authors will only sign They Called Us Enemy.
