Portsmouth Comic Con 2020 is just three months away, supported again by Tripwire, and here’s the next of our creator spotlights, on veteran writer and artist P Craig Russell…

P. Craig Russell has had a career working on a cross section of comic series. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a degree in painting, Russell established a name for himself at Marvel on Killraven and Doctor Strange before going on to become one of the pioneers who opened new vistas in this field with, among other works, adaptations of operas of Mozart (The Magic Flute), Strauss (Salome), The Sandman with Neil Gaiman and Wagner (The Ring of the Nibelung). Russell is also known for his Fairy Tales of Oscar Wilde series as well as his graphic novel adaptations of Neil Gaiman’s Coraline, Murder Mysteries and American Gods.
