Going Their Separate Ways?
After nearly two decades of working together, filmmaker Christopher Nolan and Warner Bros. Pictures could be going their separate ways.
A new report in The Wall Street Journal has just implied that the pair have split and the reason was apparently because “in part because he was disappointed with the studio’s hybrid distribution strategy for 2021”.
Nolan has been very vocal and very public about his disapproval of Warners’ day-and-date HBO Max release strategy for all its theatrical releases this year, famously dubbing the outlet the “worst streaming service” on the market.
At present neither Nolan nor the studio have publicly commented on this.
